Anja Garland joined the Art Club in 2002. She enjoys experimenting in a cubist / expressionist style, using vibrant and contrasting colours. Anja likes to paint with watercolours and with acrylics. She generally takes her inspirations from holiday photographs, calendars, adverts or greeting cards. Occasionally she paints in the open.

Anja’s favourite artists are August Macke, Franz Marc, Paul Klee, Robert Delaunay, Frantiscek Kupka and Rosina Wachtmeister.
